Meet the Board
PCRID's Board of Directors are elected members of the organization charged with carrying out PCRID's administrative functions. In addition to
member's specific duties, the Board holds General Membership Meetings and meets
quarterly to discuss the organization's business.
Gina brings a wealth of perspectives on the field, not only as an interpreter, but also as a business owner and a consumer. She has also served on other boards, including the International Alumnae of Delta Epsilon Sorority and was an OGG delegate at the 2016 NAD conference. Currently, she is also president of the Eastern Deaf Women's Bowling Association! This track record of organizational leadership experience will certainly make her an asset to PCRID.
Jo Westbury graciously stepped up to become the Interim Director of Communications for PCRID. The Permanent two-year position (2018-2019) is open for nominations and will be up for election at the PCRID 2017 Annual Conference.

Traci Ison began working in the DC area in 2010, and finally moved to Maryland from the Northern Kentucky/ Cincinnati area in 2014. Her insight from having lived and worked in various Deaf communities around the country, is a real asset to the board.
Traci's goal for her PCRID term is to create positive change in the local Deaf and interpreting communities through fostering meaningful collaboration. She served as the Communication Director in 2016, and was nominated and elected as Community Relations Director in 2017, which is a truly fitting position given her desire to make an impact with community collaboration.
D'Lisa M. Robinson is a certified interpreter and one of the newest members of the PCRID board. Originally from Georgia, she is a graduate of Maryville College and Gallaudet University. D'Lisa now resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and puppy.
She first became involved in the deaf community through a deaf family member. Later, she decided to become a more active member in PCRID as a volunteer at the 2014 conference and then in 2015 joined the conference committee as the volunteer coordinator. In 2016, she proudly joined the board to complete the remaining year of the vacated Director of Meetings role. In the fall of 2016, D'Lisa was elected to a second term!
Kevin is a native Californian, but has been a Marylander for more than 30 years. He started in PCRID as a committee member, heading the Food and Beverage committee for our Annual Conference several years in a row. In 2014, he made a longer-term commitment as a Board member, first serving as a Member-at-Large then Director of Membership. He continues to serve in that capacity for a second term!
This year, Kevin is aiming to strike the ever-evasive work-life balance. Wish him luck- and maybe even help him out!

Sarah originally hails from New York, but has called DC home for many years. She has been involved with PCRID in various capacities, first as a member of the Professional Development committee, then as President in 2013 & 2014. Since then, she has continued to serve on the Board as our Treasurer.
One of Sarah's goals for this year is to focus her work on engaging with the community. You may be seeing her around more, so be sure to say hello!
