Our Inaugural Conference

Our very first conference was held November 1, 1986 at Maryland School for the Deaf - Columbia Campus. It consisted of a potluck lunch, a business meetings, and a panel discussion entitile, "Working Together, We Work Better."

Since our inaugural conference, PCRID has held an annual conference every November or December at a location somewhere in the DC/MD/VA area. PCRID's first virtual conference as held in 2020, followed by two virtual conferences in 2021 and 2022. While the PCRID conference is hosted to support our membership, it is open to our entire local interpreter community.
